Fancy Nancy: Super Secret Surprise Party
I saw that the cover of this book said the same thing as the other Fancy Nancy book I read. They are both celebrating Fancy Nancy’s 10th Anniversary! This story is about how a surprise party is a secret just like we have secrets at my spy camp. Nancy is the narrator of this book and she tells how her class is planning the party. Nancy says, “I can’t reveal who it’s for. (Reveal is a fancy word for tell.) I don’t want to spoil the surprise.” Nancy helps her dad make cupcakes. This is just like me and my daddy because I help him make brownies! I like the illustrations in this book because they are colorful and help tell the story of the surprise party. I think it is funny when Nancy and her friends pretend to lock their lips and throw away the keys! I pretended to do that, too and my mommy laughed. If you want to find out who the surprise party is for, then you will want to read this book. Kids who like parties will enjoy this book.
