Fancy Nancy: Peanut Butter and Jellyfish
This book is about a famous character called Fancy Nancy who explores a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and also learns about jellyfish. I like that the cover says “Ooh la la! Fancy Nancy’s 10th Anniversary” because that means Fancy Nancy is even older than me! In this fun story, Nancy goes to the aquarium first and she goes to the cafeteria. Guess what kind of sandwich she eats while the class is in the cafeteria? Peanut butter and jelly!
I think that jellyfish are amazing, not something to hate, but at first Nancy does not like jellyfish. Her teacher helps Nancy learn all about jellyfish. “These jellyfish look like pearly pink bubbles.” I liked this part because sometimes grownups help me learn about things that have made me feel nervous. Here is an example: I felt nervous at dance but my ballet teacher helped me learn and feel better! I learned how to keep going. Nancy keeps going, too. I think this is a good book for children who like Fancy Nancy.
