Exile for Dreamers : A Stranje House Novel
When I first read A School for Unusual Girls last year, I fell in love with historical fiction. The characters were refreshing and fun; I couldn’t wait to pick up the second book. In Exile for Dreamers we follow the feisty Tess, a girl who gets prophetic dreams that leave her in agony for the people she dreams of. Which terrifies Tess because it causes madness and death. The story starts off where it ended in the first book. Even though we aren’t in Georgie’s head, I’m glad we still got to be able to see her in her element. Then there is Lord Ravencross. I must admit, he has been one of my favorite things to read about as of late mainly because I feel like he’s the only one who truly gets Tess. He lets her be who she is yet he’s always in the background waiting to catch her for whenever she may need him.
I enjoyed being able to see the other girls and most certainly look forward to the next book in the series featuring Jane. If you’re looking for kick butt heroines set in Victorian times, this is the book for you!
