Disney Parks Presents: The Haunted Mansion

This book is all about the creatures at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. This book isn’t really a story but more of the lyrics to a song that they sing on summer nights. There’s a CD that comes with the book! The lyrics are rhyming lyrics and at the end are the guidelines to help you get into the haunted mansion. The characters in this book are ghosts and spirits that live in the haunted mansion. None of them are named. The illustrations in this book are kind of creepy! They are not pictures, but paintings and drawings. The lyrics are kind of scary to read, but in a fun way. One thing I really liked about this book was a lyric that talked about the spirits enjoying SOCIALIZING showed up at various times during the story. This wasn’t one of my favorite stories to read because, even though it was meant to be fun, it was kind of scary in a way. Boys and girls ages five to ten who like ghosts and Halloween stuff might like this book
