Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance
This book goes very deeply into Simone’s life and journey. I would recommend this book to advanced readers around eleven and older because it is hard to understand, but when you do, you get a very intense message about gymnastics. In my opinion, this book should be the start of an Olympic medalist series about some of the most amazing athletes. This book reminds me of Peg Kehret’s writings because it really shows different perspectives. I would recommend this book because it opens the world of a gymnast, showing people what’s it is like to be a gymnast. It was very amazing how she overcame so many obstacles and still achieved a lot. This was a great book, and I really enjoyed it.
