City Trails – New York

This book is all about a variety of trails through New York City. Two characters named Marco and Amelia guide you on the trails through the five boroughs of New York City. Instead of this being a “Story” story, this is an “Okay, may I take this trail?” story. There are lots of different types of trails. Some deal with architecture, some deal with Broadway, some deal with history, and some even deal with sports! For example, you can take a trail to the stadium where the New York Yankees play! It’s important to note that these are not trails like dirt paths you might find in the woods. Instead, these are trails through the streets of New York. One trail that I would really LOVE to take is the trail called “It’s Showtime!” Some of the stops on this trail include Immersive Theater (in various locations), the famous Apollo Theater and, obviously, Broadway. My daddy would really like to see the New York Public Library, Columbia University, and Madison Square Garden. I really liked this book and I plan to take it with me when I visit New York with my family!
