Be Light Like a Bird
I think that Be Light Like A Bird is a good book. It is about a girl named Wren. Her father recently passed away. Wren had a very special bond with her father, so she was very sad. However, her mother had different feelings. She seemed more angry than sad. She moved three times and kept getting new boyfriends, all while dragging poor Wren along with her. Wren and her mother argued frequently and barely spoke to each other normally anymore! This was all happening while Wren was still upset about the loss of her father. After a while, they started talking again. Wren’s mother tells Wren about how her dad cheated on her. It turned out that that was why she was angry the whole time. In the end, everything was okay. I liked Be Light Like A Bird because it was a very emotional story. It had a very sad beginning, but it had a much happier ending. I also like how it is more of a realistic story. All of the events seemed like they could actually happen. Overall, it was a good book, and I recommend it for ages ten to fourteen.
