Balthazar Fabuloso in the Lair of the Humbugs
This was a great book that I enjoyed. I’d recommend it for ages seven to ten. My favorite part was in the ice palace. I also liked that there was a different point of view in the book in different areas. The part I disliked was the inappropriate fart parts. Overall the book was good. The Magi part went too quick without much explanation. The plot was about a boy whose family has magical powers except for his go missing and he has to live with a long-lost stinky old uncle. He learns that an evil force of magic is taking not only his family but the fistulas too. The book had intensity and excitement. I thought that they did a good job with the gloaming, it was scary. I also like that there were more unfixed problems that make you question the book. Another problem with the book was that the beginning was too slow and the ending was too fast. The beginning had too much detail the end was fine though. I thought the cover was good it showed a good part in the book. The one thing I disliked the most was that the beginning didn’t make very much sense.
