A Funny Thing Happened at the Museum . . .

This boy went to a museum for a school trip, but he got lost. A lot of adventures happened to him. He ran into a triceratops and hid with some Neanderthals, who he thanked with some balloon animals. Once a volcano erupted right where he was! Then he ran into a fossil skeleton, and he put it back together – not the right way! He saw a bunch of sculptures and was even saved by one! There were a lot of other adventures, too!

This book is really funny the way the boy puts things back together and how he changes the art. He draws on the paintings and even paints a picture of his dog! He’d better not do that in a real museum! You will really like the pictures. It’s fun to see all the different things the boy sees in the museum and all the things that happen to him. It is also fun to find the boy’s dog doing everything with him. My favorite was when they do a salon for the mammoth! This is a really funny book that will make you wish you could go to a museum with him!
