A Crack in the Sea
I think that A Crack in the Sea is a good book. It is a book with nine different parts. However, all of the stories in this book come together, unlike other books. There is the story of Kinchen and Pip, the story of Venus and Swimmer, and the story of Thanh. All of the stories are magical in one way or another. That is one thing I love about A Crack in the Sea: it is so magical! Some of the characters have special “gifts” that involve the ocean, which adds a nice touch of magic. I also like how the book makes you want to read more of it. Every time a part was over, all I wondered was, “What happens next?” The book was also very creative. I have never seen or read a book like A Crack in the Sea. Overall, the book was amazing, and I recommend it for ages nine to fourteen.
